Daily Duties at United States Army:
RANK: E-5, Sergeant (Active Duty: 1990 to 1993) NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICER IN CHARGE, Recruit Platoon(1993 to 1998) Supervises up to 50 junior enlisted personnel. Trains and tests personnel in common military operations. Coordinates and conducts military training programs for new recruits and medical staff. Orientates new recruits and processes appropriate paperwork. Keeps up-to-date on medical treatment techniques to perform medical specialist functions. MILITARY EXPERIENCE (Continued) BATTALION AIDE STATION SUPERVISOR, Germany (1990 to 1993) Provided treatment and care to 609 military personnel in conjunction with physician's assistant. Triaged and assessed incoming patients. Updated and maintained medical records. Administered medication and injections. Performed emergency care for trauma patients. Maintained inventory logs and controlled $80,000 medical equipment inventory and fleet of 12 emergency response vehicles. Evaluated staff education levels, recommended training programs. • Earned "Soldier of the Year" award for 1995. • Received Army Achievement Medal for meritorious service as a Medical Specialist (1990 to 1993). • Earned 2 Army Achievement Medals, 3 Letters of Commendation, 2 Certificates of Appreciation, and 5 Certificates of Achievement. • Played on All Army Divisional Football Team.
