Daily Duties at Asian Law Alliance:

Received calls about people's legal inquiries, documented information, discussed legal issues with lawyers, made client callbacks and appointments. Helped lawyers compile and complete cases. Filled the receptionists role. Filled in the role of the Immigration lawyer and dealt with Vietnamese and English clients helping them complete their N-400 citizenship application. Knowledgeable in areas of immigration, social benefits, domestic violence and housing. Working with clients in order to help them understand their problems, calm them down, and aid them in any way I can.

What they like about Asian Law Alliance:

The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
