TFSMS Project Summary TFSMS is a project that affects the Marine Corps personnel, equipment, facilities around the world. 4 Legacy systems are being integrated into 1 major system. This is being done because the 4 legacy systems are not able to talk to each other because they are antiquated, but need each others information. Duties include: • Manage SOW development for new work on the program. • Create, update, and adjust schedule using Microsoft Project. • Coordinate meetings with military and civilian personnel regarding multiple issues on the development of the TFSMS system. • Create configuration management plan. • Hold weekly status meetings regarding the schedule performance. • Write white papers, briefs, and memos on a risk management issues. • Negotiate with contractors regarding potential work on the program. • Issue monthly status reports regarding the TFSMS program. • Attend military briefings regarding other systems that need to give or need to receive data from the new TFSMS system. • Coordinate the turnover of all documentation for the new development effort. • Present software development information to the military personnel regarding TFSMS. • Develop new schedules for new task, deliverables, and milestones, to create WBS. • Assist client in developing process, software, and system requirements. • Assist customer in mitigating risk such as cost and schedule. • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on cost and schedule risk SARS Project Summary Senior Project Engineer SARS (Sustainment and Redesign Systems) is multi-million dollar project that would affect 4 Air Force Air Logistical Centers, and 2 Air Force Depot Maintenance sites. This effort involves modernizing the aircraft maintenance system through migration of its current legacy systems to the web. Project Leadership: Being a member of SARS team, my responsibilities are: • To communicate and coordinate with different levels of management and customers on the project. • Assist in developing the Project Plan for the project. • Assist in creating WBS for the SARS Project. • Assist in measuring project and cost performance. (I.e. EVMS, EAC, Discount Cash Flow Analysis, etc.) • Prepare and present presentations at different phases of the project for stakeholders. • Manage the Design, and Development, of the Network, Help, and Reports Systems Components of the Aircraft Maintenance Web System. • Manage the Feasibility Study for the prospective project follow on effort. • Work on developing baseline requirements and detail requirements for the new web aircraft maintenance system project. • To assist in enhancing the current architecture and framework for the new web aircraft maintenance system project. • Use multiple programming languages to develop new web system, such as, Java, PowerBuilder 7.0, Javascript, DHTML, HTML Jscript, PowerScript, Visual Basic COM and COM+, C++, SQL. Oklahoma City Air Logistical Center Project: Being part of the Solutions Development Team, I had an opportunity to travel to Oklahoma City and: • Managed the development and deployment of the aircraft maintenance system web site enhanced components. • Managed and assisted in developing complex dynamic graphs and tables for their intranet using the latest development tools such as visual studio 6.0 and front page 2000. Languages used for the development effort were, vbscript, javascript, asp, visual basic COM objects.
