Daily Duties at Amr American Airlines:

Management for coordination of overall operation within all area functions. Conducts agent observation and associated activities, recognize employees performance and provide constructive feedback. Administrate local training programs. Responsible for scheduling and manpower utilization. Maintain supplies, inventory control logs. Prepare customer correspondence, investigate discrepancies and compile statistical data reports. Complete administrative duties and perform agent work as required. Coordinate daily schedules and activities for all agents daily routines.Promote teamwork through positive interaction. Schedule team meetings weekly for discussions on how to make work more productive and positive. Discuss new products and specials to provide the upmost care and service to our customers. Work with Management team daily to ensure all operations are functioning properly. Perform a wide variety of office tasks and provide support to a team of two shift managers and several Customer Service Managers in a very busy office environment. Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying and collating. Assist in various department projects. Handle a high volume of correspondence requiring research and follow up. Receive, sort, and route incoming mail. Provide departmental telephone coverage on multi-line phone system as well as screen, respond to and forward calls to appropriate personnel. Manage general office voicemail box and handle messages accordingly. Maintain fax and copy machines, order and receive office supplies. Handle employee airport identification documents for employees. Handled billing and credit/cash deposits daily. Meet and register new employees and clients. Monitor visitor access and direction of appropriate personnel. Makes travel arrangements, maintains itineraries, and compiles documents for travel-related meetings for company executives and other personnel. Provide efficient, friendly service to all customers. Promote and sell air travel with American Airlines and American Eagle. This task includes: prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, prepare and issue tickets, check baggage and collect baggage charges in accordance with tariff rules. Perform duties in the departure lounges and boarding gates when enplaning or deplaning passengers. Process claims for damages or lost luggage and personal articles.
