Daily Duties at Nationwide Insurance:
Developed strategic Competitive Intelligence program. Analysis of key industry competitors at multiple levels (universal, regional, state and district) resulting in senior-level data presentations that influenced key marketing and product development strategy. Conceived and implemented competitive intelligence gathering initiative through call centers in order to develop district level competitive tactics for key regional stakeholders. Analyzed data warehouse to determine key customer data concerning acquisition, retention, & cross-sell of all product offerings. Conducted competitive analysis on top 10 in key areas – product, marketing, pricing, e-commerce, agency force and claims – provided recommendations on both strategic and tactical opportunities to increase KPI's (market share, claims reduction, acquisition/retention/cross-sell) Rolled-out CRM with call centers to provide key local tactical data for regional customers Negotiated fulfillment and vendor pricing for additional secondary research competitive studies Oversaw RFP and vendor delivery of primary research competitive analysis studies
