Daily Duties at U.S. Army (Civil Service) National Archives:
1. Served as Assistant to the Chief and assigned staff of organization of approximately 40 personnel. 2. Prepared correspondence, Regulations & SOPs, Accident Investigation Reports, Disposition Forms, Time Cards, Deposits, Memorandums and made Bank Runs. 3. Data Input, filing, compiled data & produced Monthly Printout of accounts for Commanders of each Unit, General Schroeder, and DPCA Commander. 4. Manned Front Desk and processed Incoming & Outgoing Personnel. 5. Received visitors & phone calls and directed to appropriate staff member. 6. Attended Briefings for Incoming Personnel. 7. Prepared reports for DA Headquarters. 8. Received, reviewed, distributed & controlled Unit Mail (including Classified Materials). 9. Screened material for suspense dates, established coantrols & follow-up to assure suspense dates were met. 10. Routed materials, personally responded to request for information, status of reports, and training needs Survey. 11. Maintained Unit Records, Suspense Logs, compiled data, scheduled appointments & made arrangements for time & location of meetings, prepared materials for Briefings, Travel orders, Time & Attendance Reports, made Hotel, airline, and other Reservations. 12. Assured proper spelling, grammar, format, and arrangement of mateial from rough draft, notes, oral instructions, or recorded materials with use of IBM & CPT 1800 Word Processors. 13. I made personal contact with Unit Personnel, Mgmt. Officials of other Command elements, Hq./other Staff Agencies, U.S. Govt. Agencies, Civilian Contractors, ROK Govt. & Contractor Association.
