Daily Duties at Colorado Springs Chamber Of Commerce:
Executive Assistant Governmental & Military Affairs Assistant to Executive Vice President of Governmental and Military Affairs. Coordination, setup of (7) governmental affairs committee meetings to include minutes at all meetings. Coordination, setup of all military affairs functions to include luncheons requiring extensive detailed work from start to finish, and receptions at local hotels. Position required some knowledge of legislative issues and positions set by the Chamber of Commerce. Communication with four military installations on a regular basis on various government programs and events. Monitor and coordination of governmental and military affairs monthly budgets as directed by committee chairman, to include attendance at monthly finance committee meetings. Public relations and responsible interaction with area media. This position required a responsible individual with limited supervision.
