Daily Duties at City Of Colorado Springs:
Position supports an Engineering Manager, inspection and technical team of 15, assisting with database generation, customer service assistance with storm drainage plans and procedures, precipitation collection database entry, and GIS mapping. Continuous development of new databases to assist departmental personnel with new project assignments in a very high pressured atmosphere. Position requires the ability to multi-task and immediate assistance to customer service needs in conjunction with flooding, erosion control and miscellaneous stormwater complaints. . Daily duties included a multitude of tasks and monthly reports with various deadlines, travel arrangements, meeting scheduling/preparation to include minutes, PowerPoint presentations and spreadsheets, preparation of memos, reports, correspondence and miscellaneous information as required. Position required critical timelines and confidential information, requiring little or no supervision, as well as the ability to make quick decisions when necessary.
