Daily Duties at Lowe's:

: As SOS Coordinator I was responsible for all the special order sales (SOS) returns. contact the vendor about getting credit on the return if the vendor issued credit I would follow that vendors policy pertaining to returns, if the vendor refused credit the merchandise would be added to our resale list, and would be sold from the sales floor for at a lower cost, then I would check to see if the return was a salesperson error, if so I would issue that salesperson a margin loss worksheet (MLWS) and have him/her explain the loss and have the salesperson re-trained if needed. I also set up special accounts called AR or Swap accounts that would allow me to give the salesperson money allowing the salesperson to buy new merchandise for the customer when the merchandise the customer purchased previously was either damaged, or defective allowing the customer to not have to return to the store until the new merchandise was in. Once the customer had received the new merchandise and original merchandise was back in the store the swap could then be cleared. Responsible for weekly audits, detailed reports were turned in at the end of each work week. Data entry, filing, sending and receiving faxes, making photocopies, scheduling pick-ups and deliveries, assisting customers on the sales floor, worked with the shipping and receiving team, checked in incoming merchandise, packed up and shipped returned merchandise back to the appropriate vendor, called vendors daily to get credit on returned and damaged merchandise, met with Vendor Reps to have merchandise inspected before credit would be issued. As Credit Coordinator I was responsible for credit store wide, trained employees on the various credit cards we offered and how to enter the application into the system, made sure employees were knowledgeable in the current credit card promotions as well as making sure all credit materials and promotional signage were in the correct area, kept a daily log of the applications applied for along with the line of credit given to the customer. Participated in the weekly credit conference calls which kept me current in credit issues company-wide. Those were my main duties along with relieving cashiers and customer service representatives of their duties for lunches and breaks.
