Daily Duties at Sunbeam Company:
Responsible for establishing and directing the Sunbeam Audit Department and managing departmental administrative functions, audits of internal and operational, financial, computer systems controls supporting Sunbeam’s businesses on a worldwide basis. · Led efforts to enhance internal controls, asset management, and working capital, cash flow and cost reduction programs that improved the efficiency and profitability of the company, adding $22,000,000 directly to the bottom line at Sunbeam. · Led the restructuring program for all-financial, engineering, manufacturing and warehousing operations. · Led conversion and implementation efforts of two J. D. Edward's software installations. · Presented to senior management and the Audit Committee the results of audit reviews as well as suggestions for improving the operations - financial reporting, and business transaction flow of each business segment. · Led team of professionals in the analysis and plan execution to resolve Y2K issues. · Provided consulting advisory services to Sunbeam management.
