Created HRIS database in Microsoft Access to include all employee information (start dates, insurance premiums, dependants, disciplinary actions and termination information) Duties include but not limited to administration of all company benefits including COBRA where applicable, conduct orientation of new employees. Recruiting for 7 company locations and one affiliate. Hiring and terminating when needed. Administration and adherence to federal and state employment laws. Maintain Employee Handbook, English and Spanish versions. Administrate progressive discipline policy. Find innovative ways to boost employee morale and increase employee safety awareness. Maintain employee files. Sexual Harassment training of all employees. Create new HR forms when required. Maintain current and required federal and state employment posters for all locations. Liaison between management and staff. Counseling of employees when needed.
