Daily Duties at Gdp:

Special Projects Director Initially hired as Advertising Director then promoted to Special Projects. Listed below is a description of each position. Advertising Director: Hands on Director who managed a commission vs. draw sales force and personally produced. Responsible for 2.5 million in annual sales. Responsible for Sales forecasting, Budget preparation, Media kit content and Special Promotions. Over a period of three years we introduced three new magazines. All were profitable on time and in budget. Director of Special Projects: Responsible for Investment Banking and Publishing division. Hands on position. Obtained sales objectives by obtaining a minimum of 52% ownership of numerous qualified public companies. Orchestrated the merger and 100% acquisition of several private tech companies. Coordinated Time-line of events;(business plan development, accounting, legal, etc.)Management of client expectations. Position required an extraordinary amount of travel through out North America including many trips to Canada and several to London. (A private investment group located in, Vancouver, British Columbia, acquired the company.)
