Daily Duties at Invitrogen Corporation:
• Responsible for supporting J.D. Edwards ERP Distribution, Manufacturing and Financial modules. • Developed and maintained a home grown system using COBOL , RPG and CLP to interface with J.D. Edwards system to handle Order Processing of custom products which was not handled by J.D. Edward system. • Modified and maintained third party system to handle Export documents to comply with Government regulations. • Interacted with business users and customers to research, analyze and define needs and requirements. • Designed and developed process/program specifications, and provided project plans with timelines, resource requirements and cost estimates. • Coordinated quality control testing with end users and implemented new or changed processes into the production environment. Developed operating procedures and trained users on new processes. • Provided Tier III support for IT Service Desk. • Worked as Security Administrator for JDE One World system.
