Daily Duties at University Of Arizona:

Network Administration * Project lead for evaluation, selection, acquisition and implementation of network monitoring system * Project lead for spanning tree optional features implementation on 1200+ switches to minimize convergence time and protect network against bridging loops * Primary developer for network monitoring applications to gather device info using SNMP, make bulk configuration changes and monitor system logs * Brought campus network to security policy compliance by configuring IOS to disable telnet access System Administration * Responsible for Administering, patching and maintaining 19 network service platforms including Apache web server, DNS, DHCP, TFTP, TACACS+, MySQL, TelAlert, and the network management applications (NetFlow, Nerve Center, HP Openview, and all backups and logging services * Designed Raritan KVM multiuser system for data center with more than 60 servers * Configured and fine-tuned Cisco TACACS+ for external clients remote access Software Development * Designed and implemented web interface for Remedy trouble ticket system using ARS Perl and PHP * Designed and developed web registration application for University faculty and staff to help visiting guests utilize the campus wireless network
