• Managed the due diligence process for $1 billion in monthly whole loan bulk sales and forward commitments, negotiating investor rejected loans, and ensuring that acceptable pool execution ratios are maintained. • Managed the analysis and research of investor exceptions on all loans, delegated various internal and external groups for the resolution of loan sale issues, formulated rebuttals with compensating factors and supporting documentation, negotiated with investors on suspended loans to obtain exception approvals, and coordinated collateral, credit/compliance and value/BPO variance review processes. • Obtained repricing on loans outside guidelines for review by whole loan trader • Coordinated with facilities for on-site due diligence and ensured timely availability of files • Collaborated on monthly management reports on loans not purchased and furnished information to senior management on trends and issues identified during the due diligence process • Provided prompt, courteous service to all internal and external customers. Prioritized and addressed customer needs and demands in a professional manner. Fostered cooperative working relationships with investors/dealers as well as internal departments. • Assisted in the design and implementation of quality improvement initiatives for the due diligence, reporting, and loan settlement processes • Responsible for bulk notifications once trades have been awarded; maintained bulk calendar for distribution; researched data integrity issues • Reconciled purchase advices and loan level pricing on forward trades, maintained Gain/Loss report for transactions, conducted introductory and tie out calls as well as conference calls for servicing related issues.
