Daily Duties at Westpac Banking:
Trained and managed two system operators.Instrumental in writing of written computer operating procedures. Executed daily operations for the processing of four affiliated banking branches. Performed daily backups of 5 Computer Systems (IBM SYS/36, Digital Vax, Tandem Vlx/Clx, and Series 1). Observed peripheral equipment and error messages displayed on monitor to detect faulty output or machine stoppage. Recorded all processing times, and problems which occurred such as down time and actions taken. Evaluated and resolved all computer software issued via beeper and onsite. Tested programs written by in-house programmers on our IBM Development SYS/36
