Daily Duties at Fundicion Monclova, S.A.:
Reported to the President, with full P & L responsibility of a foundry dedicated to the steel mill rolling rolls (casted & forged), steel shot, steel castings, forged products and gray iron castings production and metal mechanics (metal work, structures, machining, welding, etc.). Overall management of the manufacturing facility, including operations, customer service, field service, finance, procurement, production logistics, planning & production control, quality, maintenance of equipment & installations, labor relations and managing a staff of 8 managers and 600 employees. Signed a 3 year contract with CEO & COO, with tasks established for improvements in cost reduction, head count reduction, quality improvement, scrap production reduction, profits improvement, etc.
