Daily Duties at Bow Tie Inc:
Managing Editor, Veterinary Practice News and Special Projects • Assigned stories to both professional writers and veterinarians, edited articles and supervised associate editor for a monthly trade magazine. Worked closely with editorial team and several departments, including production and the art director. Special projects included a website, a directory and a show program. • Traveled to veterinary conferences to increase industry knowledge, meet advertisers and contributors, and positively represent the company and magazine. • (Started as an assistant editor with Fancy/BowTie in 1995 and moved up and between several other magazines during my tenure.)
