Daily Duties at New Concepts Counseling:
Provide individual, couple, and group therapy sessions with detailed responsibilities to include clinical assessment, treatment planning, and case management. Perform crisis intervention and stabilization procedures, direct multicultural counseling services, and manage psycho-education to improve client social and parenting skills. Performed extensive clinical research to form and develop presentations on multicultural counseling techniques and theoretical and pragmatic applications of “Cinema Therapy” for national and regional conferences of mental health and education professionals. Successfully advocated for support of creative counseling techniques at local public awareness and educational events.
