• Customer Service • Answering Phones and Transferring Calls • Admission: Checking Patients in and out • Scheduling, Rescheduling, and Canceling Appointments for Approximately 82 Patients Daily • Handling Patient Referrals for Specialists • Updating and Entering Patient Information • Billing: Posting Charges, Updating and Balancing Patient Accounts, and Billing Insurance Companies • Verifying Medical Insurance and Medical Payments of Automobile Insurance • Triage: Assessing the Severity of the Patients Illness or Injury • Filing Patient Notes, Charts and Records • Handling Patient Prescriptions • Medical Records: Authorizing, Invoicing, and Transferring • Overseeing and Billing Work Related Injuries, Physicals, Drug Screens, and Breath Alcohol Tests • Cash Handling: Balancing the Cash Drawer, Making Deposits, and Handling Patient Payments
