• Represented WWMT-Channel 3 in the West Michigan region. Monitored community issues and concerns. • Sponsored community events focusing on education, child safety and healthcare initiatives. • Helped organizations promote their agendas through the development of public service announcements and on-air specials produced by the Public Affairs Director. • Coordinated station and community diversity initiatives. • Developed and coordinated public service campaigns, wrote media releases on station-sponsored events and activities, and led internal employee communications. • Created, produced and hosted daily Community Calendar and other programming. • Produced and wrote PSAs, and coordinated PSA inventory. • Hired and managed assistant; managed Community Calendar production staff. • Developed promotional materials supporting the station’s Success by Six and 3 CARES: West Michigan Shares public service campaigns.
