Daily Duties at Insight Midwest:
Setting up computer work stations and Cisco IP phone systems. Assisting in projects within the company like software changes or platform changes. Installing new appropriate software i.e.: Aspect, Cisco Phone integrating software, MS Office, Networking software. Installed Microsoft updates on work stations. Helped train others on how to run and test new hardware and software. Gave feedback on beta tested products and software. Rebuilt company computers Assisting to identify and resolve network and system problems working with other departments as a team. Some of my duties were assisting on the build of a new call center i.e.: running and installing all Cat 5 and Cat 6 ether net cables in the building, both Cisco IP phone lines and analog phone lines, installing analog phone switches and Cisco IP Phone system. Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Access PowerPoint and Outlook. Extensive knowledge in Microsoft 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP and Vista. Assisting with the ongoing training of new and existing customer representatives daily. Answering questions of the customer service representatives. Handling escalated customers’ calls, and resolving the issue in one call resolution. Following up on customer issues if the problem had not been resolved in the one call resolution procedure. Working with other departments in the company to resolve a customer issues. Work without direct supervision for up to 8 -12 hours a day. Can troubleshoot some electoral issues. Submitted accurate detailed reports of events and service levels to Corporate, Regional and Local Managers.
