Daily Duties at The University Of Chicago:
As the point of contact for the National Cancer Institute (NCI/ NIH) and the participating institutions, Manage NIH sponsored Phase II Clinical Trials Consortium of 14 institutions across Midwest. Work with faculty to develop Clinical Protocol to test investigational agents, develop and manage study budgets and timelines. Establish and implement procedures for protocol submission, review, and approval, ensuring that all research involving the use of human subjects is conducted in accordance with federal, state, and institutional regulations. Responsible for facilitating the approval and activation of clinical trial protocols and consent forms from NCI and local IRB. Participate in internal and external audits and reviews of clinical trial regulatory documents
