Daily Duties at Centers For Disease Control And Prevention (Cdc):
• Leads the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of major communication, dissemination, and marketing programs, projects and services. • Creates integrated plans and strategies for public health communication and marketing activities to promote products and services. • Prepares, disseminates and evaluates strategies, messages and materials for diverse audiences. • Delivers communication briefings and presentations to various groups to include federal, state and local constituents, the research community and internal partners. • Directs development, testing, and timely dissemination of products, tools, and messages. • Develops electronic communication and marketing programs. • Leads and conducts research and evaluation activities, including formative research, outcome evaluation and other qualitative and quantitative methods. • Collaborates with management to ensure that the organization’s strategic plan, mission, vision and values are integrated into communication and marketing programs, strategies, goals, objectives, products, and services. • Creates partnerships to promote the dissemination and communication of statistical and health information and data.
