Daily Duties at Morale, Welfare & Recreation (Mwr) Center :
Directed the operation of two Child Development Facilities and a Child Development Home Program in compliance with Department of Defense and Navy regulations and National Association for the Education of Children and USDA Food program guidelines. • As a Team Manager, developed organizational policies and instructions to manage resources. • Planned and administered a $600,000 annual budget covering capital and operating expenses. • Supervised a staff of 79, developed and implemented training plans, and conducted performance reviews for individuals and teams. • Served as initial and primary liaison to the military and local community, receiving visitors and responding directly to inquiries from many sources. • Established and oversaw all administrative procedures. • Researched and interpreted a wide variety of rules and regulations governing facility operations. • Coordinated new quality-of-life initiatives with local community organizations and served as liaison to the service agencies to assist in assimilation of new community members. • Generated a wide variety of reports and maintained program and personnel records. • Verified and analyzed incomes to establish a fee structure for participation in center programs
