Daily Duties at Wesley House Family Services Inc. Child Development Center Stock Island:
Supervise a staff of ten and direct day-to-day operations of a child-development center serving infants and children to age five. Respond directly to in-person, telephone, mail, and e-mail inquiries regarding the program; receive visitors, establish work schedules, arrange meetings and travel, and generate a wide variety of reports. • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and accreditation standards, including those of the State of Florida, COA, APPLE, and the Florida Department of Health Child Food Program. • Develop and implement individual training plans in coordination with the Training Coordinator and Human Resources staff; provide orientation to new staff and parents. • Manage community outreach referrals to families to meet the developmental needs of enrolled children. • Plan and administer capital and operating budgets. • Hold overall responsibility for facility maintenance, operations, and consumables inventories.
