Daily Duties at Sun Chemical Corporation:

• Provided Health and Safety presence in ink/pigment manufacturing facility in order to ensure and increase worker safety awareness and compliance. Provided health and safety services for employees. • Coordinated with safety management personnel to ensure plant compliance with regulatory agencies. • Collected data, sampled discharge, assisted with permit renewal and submission of quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports mandated by Local, State and Federal Agencies i.e. FDNY, NYCPD, NYCDEP, NYSDEC etc. • Performed routine and unannounced inspections. Maintained the plant safety program which includes safety inspections, TSO cards, and slogans. • Worked to reduce the incident rate and reduce/maintain Lost Time Accidents at current level.
