Daily Duties at Central Transport:
Effectively initiated opening of new terminal, met exceeded goals for outbound freight growth within rural area. Negotiate rates regarding methods of shipment, focusing on achieving lowest rate while maintaining customer service. Manage all daily operations of LTL inline terminal. Manage all pick-ups and deliveries according to company policies and procedures. Coordinate all sales personnel, operations, and company and contract drivers to grow, service and maintain customer loyalty within geographical area. Dispatching, loading, routing and planning for all daily runs to insure on time deliveries, OS&D and customer service.
