Daily Duties at Visteon Corp. Climte Control Systems:
Leader of international manufacturing and design engineering Team for all forward model projects for facilities located in US, Brazil, Hungary, Mexico and Portugal. Responsible for overall project management including program timing, specifying, negotiating and awarding of equipment contracts, project approval and launch including equipment design reviews and qualification through demonstrated capability with Ppk/Cpk targets and Poke Yokes. Current model responsibilities include process improvements and cost reductions including labor and cycle time improvements and warranty and quality problem identification and resolution using 8D methodology. Advanced manufacturing engineering responsibilities include directing the design and developing alternative processes for an affordable cost structure. Released due to cost and personnel reductions required to meet corporate financial objectives. References and reference letters available.
