Manager - Women’s Department / Manager on Duty 06/2002 – 05/2003 -- Managed the women’s department which accounted for 60 percent of the store’s business -- Planned and executed moves for incoming shipment thrice a week -- Directed and trained other associates and employees on the sales floor providing regular performance reviews and ongoing training -- Directed and managed the store on revolving basis with other managers -- Administered nightly cash audit, ensuring all transactions were performed in accurate and efficient manner -- Accountable for shift and nightly cash deposits and credit accounts when on duty -- Supervised all store visual merchandising -- Often traveled to help establish new stores and provide structure and interim management Co-Director - All Store Old Navy Account Team 08/2002 – 05/2003 -- Consistently recognized as the District Leader in opening Old Navy Account Credit cards -- Single-handedly processed one-third of the total accounts opened in the store to date -- Motivated and provided incentive to sales team to encourage them to open accounts -- Trained in new associates and familiarized them with the credit cards and selling techniques Other Responsibilities and Positions -- Lead associate in establishing the new store -- Senior customer service representative and cashier -- Prominent in loss prevention team
