Daily Duties at Abn Amro:
Accounting Manager for a $200B Mortgage Servicer with a budget in excess of $50M, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations. Responsible for the preparation of the monthly financial statements for senior management, month-end close process, preparation of the annual budget, monthly forecast and associated variance analytics, accounts payable, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts. Six direct reports. * Created a senior management power point presentation for the annual Strategic Planning event that detailed the consolidated financial position of the AAMG servicing line of business, highlighting financial achievements by cost center. * Developed a model to prepare and analyze the annual budget by cost center, providing the ability to monitor and control income / expenses. * Developed a forecasting tool for income and expense by cost center. * Established an activity based costing ( ABC ) model by cost center to enable management to control costs and staffing levels based on forecasted production levels. * Achieved a $3 million reduction in annual allocations from the parent company through extensive research and revision of allocation methods. * Implemented a Key Performance Indicator ( KPI ) summary report that resulted in more effective senior management decisions.
