Daily Duties at Division Of Parole And Probation:
Field Supervisor ISupervise and coordinate activities of investigative agents, clerical staff and lab technicians. Review unit's workload, schedules, projects, and available personnel for work assignments. Review pre-sentence investigation reports, pre-parole summaries, executive clemency recommendations, and new intakes for clarity, completeness, accuracy, and conformance with agency policies. Coordinate work activities with other agencies and units statewide to prevent delays in service to the public. Approve leave requests, evaluate personnel performance, and initiate disciplinary actions as needed. Interview job applicants on eligibility lists and prepare individual recommendations for consideration by Human Resources and members of upper management.
