Daily Duties at Cordis Corporation, A Johnson & Johnson Company:
• Certified American Society for Quality Manager (CQMa) • Manage & develop 3 Quality Assurance (QA) engineers and 1 technician, including midyear & annual performance reviews • Support QA activities from concept through commercialization by providing reviewing and approving most documentation throughout the process. (Often simultaneously act as a QA Engineer when resources are limited to expedite project timelines.) • Drive Manufacturing Quality Plan development and implementation; risk assessments and management; concept selection, design characterization, verification, and validation testing; supplier procurement and qualification; and complaint analysis support • Provide input and support continuous improvement of Cordis Franchise Documents, particularly ones related to the design control system. Contributing team member in effort to streamline documents, making them easier to execute while maintaining compliance. • Collaborate with New Product Development, Process Engineering, Production, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Research, Marketing, and Manufacturing & Supplier Quality Engineering teams • Support and participate in FDA, BSI, and other internal and external audits
