Daily Duties at Tyco Healthcare Retail Group, Inc.:
- Initially employed as a temporary worker; offered position as Executive Assistant to the Plant Manager after three weeks. - Provided comprehensive, confidential support to Plant Manager and eight executive-level staff members including scheduling meetings and training classes, coordinating travel and effectively managing all essential, day-to-day tasks. - Produced more than 25, in-depth plant-wide metrics reports per week in a timely, accurate manner. - Instituted and managed plant-wide catering process to include in-house stock and serving of essential items resulting in a cost savings of $12,000 during the first three quarters of FY 2007. - Created and published a monthly plant-wide company newsletter resulting in higher associate morale. - Organized and coordinated achievement and safety celebrations and charitable and community based service programs including a “Toys for Tots” holiday drive which collected more than 500 toys for needy children. - Created a weekly management staff meeting agenda which improved meeting coordination and effectiveness. - Expertly coordinated and produced monthly corporate reporting, quarterly operations reviews (200+ page presentations) and plant-wide communications meetings. - Continuously participated in safety, educational and leadership training in order to gain and use knowledge related to manufacturing and management. - Dedicated to the needs of more than 900 associates by answering a huge variety of inquiries and acting as administrator for the plant-wide “Ideas for Excellence” program. - Volunteer work included: assisting associates with company store purchases, serving on the plant-wide Wellness Committee, organizing a pot-luck holiday party for more than 100 and serving on the United Way annual fund drive committee.
