Daily Duties at Smart Technology Services, Inc. :
Asset Management; Responsible for the application of various electronic IT asset information capture tools including LANdesk software installation, as well as manual capture of all IT asset information for assigned departments for the City of Chicago. Responsibilities include submission of all IT asset information, both electronic and manual, to Unisys Asset Management database administrators. SDC; Responsible for the receipt of IT Service tickets to a specified queue, and the routing of received tickets to area technicians to provide expedient service to City of Chicago end users. Responsibilities include referral of tickets via the Service Center java client to Unisys technicians and City of Chicago technicians; follow up with aforementioned technicians upon request of the end user, arrangement of travel for technicians to City of Chicago departmental sites, reset of non-proprietary application passwords, as well as contacting end users on behalf of technicians regarding scheduling of service calls.
