Daily Duties at Rits Usa:
Operations Manager Plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Responsible for the procurement of materials and supplies, parts and equipment, acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members and third-party suppliers in order to deliver projects according to plan. Coordinate and manage inventory, conduct daily cycle counts using Oracle Warehouse Management System. Supervise group responsible for daily production and testing functions. Manage daily schedules, priorities, and quality of products. Initiate, lead and/or participate in on-going Supply Chain process improvement efforts in the areas of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Purchasing and strategic Sourcing, Manufacturing, warehousing, Order Fulfillment, Transportation, Supplier Collaboration, SCM Visibility (Reporting and Graphs) Coordinate efforts with all departments to achieve cross-functional goals. Key participant involved in the successful integration of new products and/or services. Oversee quality control throughout product/service life cycle. Coordinate and manage shipping, and receiving operations. Redesigned customer service function by providing analysis of the process and offered recommendations to reduce defects and shorten the customer response cycle. Use of enterprise-wide resources (ERP) to design automated quotation tool enabling quotation turnaround time to be reduced from one week to just hours. Reduced back ordering and increased Complete on Time (COT) from 75% to 98%, maintaining a just in time program and prioritizing customer communication and response to minimize customers order error. Decreased response time to customers by developing a Supply Chain Management (SCM) network. Developed a comprehensive Computerized Production and Process Monitoring system using Lean Production techniques, (MRP) for production, SAP, J.D. Edwards and Oracle system for Outsource Tracking, Logistics, Stock Movement, and Inventory Controls on raw materials and finished goods. Reorganized and maximized packing and shipping area for maximum productivity space. Reduced packing operations from 10 hours to 7 hours resulting in no overtime, 30% reduction of man hours and warehouse clean up at end of shifts.
