Daily Duties at Msoe:

Provide administrative support to the Director and Assistant Director of the Computer and Communication Services Department. This includes, but not limited to, development and maintenance of accurate databases using MS Access and SQL; tracking of current student and faculty laptops; reviewing laptop status changes; creation and analysis of reports for MSOE’s Technology Program; serving as a resource to faculty, staff and students concerning laptop matters; managing appointment calendars including coordinating and assisting with meetings, conferences and presentations; processing purchase orders for the department; represent the department at university functions as needed; composing, proofing and handling correspondence; handling select telephone calls on behalf of the Director and Assistant Director; follow-up on non-technical inquires; assisted with the development of the department laptop database which resulted in a 20% increase in recovered laptops.
