Daily Duties at Orange County Urology Asso:
Prepare lab, turn on microscope, fill tub with H20 & Alcon detergent ' Review Physicians daily schedules ' Examine urine cultures for positive growth ' Phone in prescriptions ' Sterilize appropriate instruments if needed for various procedures ' Review patient charts ' Escort patient to the bathroom to obtain urine sample and take patient to designated room. If the patient is scheduled for procedures, prep them accordingly and set up the appropriate tray ' Do urinalysis and uricult paddle cultures on urine samples ' Clean up rooms and bathrooms after every patient ' Keep all rooms stocked with a sufficient amount of medical supplies ' Assist physicians with procedures
