Daily Duties at Yellow Book Usa:
Duties included but not limited to: Appointment setting through the use of phone contact as well as walk-in cold calling. Securing renewal/increased advertising from existing clients, as well as new advertising from new advertisers, by showing a positive return on investment through usage of product and value of advertisement. Presentation preparation and delivery of sales presentations to advertising decision makers. Worked to meet sales goals with minimal supervision. Collection of past due payments. Customer service. Participated in the training of new representatives in group settings as well as one on one training. Key attributes used in this position: Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Good verbal & written communication/presentation skills. Organization. Leadership. Key accomplishments: In the first full year with YellowBook (2006), going into final month of the year, I was still eligible to be named to the President's Club. (Top sales representatives in an office with certain criteria being met)
