Daily Duties at Home Quality Management :

Initially acted as regional manager to assist new managers within the facilities in understanding how to run their departments both financially and clinically according to the datapoint system developed by HQM Primary role became to manage the quality of services provided within the departments. This is accomplished via information sent by fax as well as through thorough facility visits both alone and on due diligence tours with other corporate level staff. Collect, track, critique documentation sent to Medicare to recoup reimbursement being denied. Additionally responsible for setting up and prepare staff for hearings further in the appeals process. Work with Business Office Managers and Regional and Corporate A/R staff to monitor currently open claims and reduce outstanding A/R Track and trend patterns in the documentation to use in education of overall staff in meeting Medicare and the fiscal intermediary’s guidelines Monitor and educate managers and facility staff regarding financial and clinical operations within departments Assure compliance with state and federal regulations for all rehab employees Responsible for revamping and keeping updated the P&P manual Create spreadsheets and other tools to use in promoting efficiency of reporting as well as to provide ongoing management tools for managers Provide computer support and education to staff Provide comprehensive multi-day regional trainings along with other Senior Rehab Team members to educate staff in all facets of departmental management
