Daily Duties at Combined Insurance Company:
· I was in charge of 14 states · Responsible for over 600 insurance agents · Met with new hires while in training class, explained hiring packets, rules and regulations, process to obtain stare license. Also met with agents on a one to one basis · I was the main contact person for each of the 14 state insurance personnel, investigators, supervisors, and commissioners · Did a complete personal background check on new hires (agents) · Interacted with each states insurance department personnel, insurance investigation divisions on a daily basis · Set up and maintained new agents files · Proofed complete hiring package · Obtained any missing paperwork · Answered 7 incoming lines, transferred calls and took messages · Interacted with companies District Managers, and Regional Mangers when problems would arise for their agents to obtain a state insurance license · Interacted with new agents when they were denied a state insurance license. · Prepared license applications, and company appointments for new agents and applied for their insurance license · Requested or prepared checks for resident and non-resident licenses, company appointments and license renewal fees · Prepared correspondence to resident and non-resident agents when their license were due to expire · Updated agents personal information and state insurance license information in database
