· Interact with family members of new patients upon patients arrival, explained facility policy and procedure · Prepare admitting, billing contracts and all paperwork for admitting new patient into facility · Input all personal and medical information on patient into computers database · Set up and maintain new patients file · Contacted Insurance company for insurance verification · Prepare personal face sheet for medical charts · Assist receptionist in information booth at break time and lunch time on a rotating basis · Prepared all correspondence to family members regarding patients, care plan meeting, billing information, etc. · Log employee’s time onto time sheet, forwarded to payroll department
