Daily Duties at Business Objects:

• Developed initial processes for how the support team dedicated to GE is going to function. • Designed and implemented Sharepoint portal for the Premium Technical Account Managers to use for sharing information within the Premium Team and with other departments within the organization. • Developed headcount model for hiring projections for 2006 • Coordinate dedicated support team for the support of Business Objects deployments at GE across North America • Liaise with individual GE business units to understand what business needs they are trying to fulfill with the current Business Objects products and determine if we can help fulfill any additional business needs with existing or new products. • Advocate for GE within Business Objects. • Participate in Single Escalation Process team to provide feedback on best processes for handling escalations across the Business Objects support center • Subject mater expert on how Business Objects products integrate with 3rd party authentication & security technologies – includes providing assistance for Support, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, & Product Group • Develop new and refine existing support processes for the support of GE. • Developed training plan for new support engineers joining the support team in order to better prepare them for supporting GE. • Mentor for GE support engineers. • Identify where GE has not set themselves up for success in supporting and maintaining their Business Objects deployments and provide them with direction on how to follow best practices. • Escalation point for GE support team, Technical Account Manager, and the customer on any case related issue. • Perform impact analysis with GE on changes that they are planning on making in their environment (adding more users, adding new hardware, upgrading their databases, etc…) • Conduct weekly case review calls with critical GE businesses in an effort to keep their cases on track. • Provide input on GE’s integration of Business Objects with other 3rd party products, such as; Portal Software, Business Process Development Software, & Authentication Software
