Daily Duties at Gerdau Ameristeel:
Rolled over 145 differnet shapes and sizes of hot rolled steel. Adjusted stock through a 13 stand in-line mill to meet ASTM standards as well as in house standards. Crew members operated a walking beam furnace capable of holding 145 tons of steel ready to be rolled into the desiered product.
