Daily Duties at Federal Bureau Of Investigation:

1) Intelligence Analyst, Counterterrorism Division. Responsible for managing intelligence flow, funding requirements, logistical preparations, liaisons with other field offices, departments, governments, and US government agencies for successful counterterrorism preparations for special events. Liaising with Department of State, National Security Association, Central Intelligence Agency, National Counterterrorism Center, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, and other US Government agencies. Member: International Athletic Events Security Coordination Group; International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts. Enrolled in: 1) Advanced Analyst Program; 2) FBI Intelligence Officer Certification Program Temporary Duty Assignments: 7/02/2007 - 7/31/2007: US Consulate, Joint Operations Center, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in support of the 2007 Pan American Games. I created the daily Situation Report with input from FBI coworkers and the other agencies participating in the Joint Operations Center; 9/18/2006 - 11/18/2006: Electronic Communication Analysis Unit. Supervisor, Michael Gallagher. Duties included evaluating electronic communications, email addresses, and other electronic media in relation to several Secret and Top Secret databases available to determine relevance to the Operation to which they were attached. Duties also included making recommendations for further investigative action to include requests for FISA coverage. Received Letter of Recognition for my contribution in the Operation. 2) Technical Information Specialist, 07/05 to Present. Supervisor: Marina Makris: 702-385-1281. Promoted 7/10/2005 from Operations Security. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance. Performed research and analysis using a variety of law enforcement databases and computer systems, public records, and other open sources. Created analytical product for agents and supervisors based on research related to financial fraud incidents. Provided finished research projects to agents for investigatory purposes. Provided analytical products to supervisors as an on-going product that continually evolves. Provided after-hours security functions including monitoring premises for security breaches, granting entrance to cleared personnel, monitoring police/FBI radio transmissions and responding when necessary. Awards and Achievements: Cash award for my contribution in an Innocent Images investigation in 2005; Cash award for my contribution in a Financial Crimes investigation in 2005; Certificate of Achievement for my contribution to a child pornography investigation in 2006. Member: Evidence Response Team, 7/2005-5/2006. Certified in Human Scent Transfer procedures with K-9 units and machines used for scent transfer. Additional training completed: Tactical Emergency Vehicle Operation Course, Mapping, and Photography at FBI training, November, 2004; ERT training, Scent Transfer Unit Course, completed February, 2006, FBI Intelligence Analyst Cohort training, Quantico May-June 2006; FBI Intelligence Analyst Specialized Training, Quantico June-July 2006; 3) Operations Security Assistant, 1/04 to 07/05. Provide after-hours security functions including monitoring premises for security breaches, granting entrance to cleared personnel, monitoring police/FBI radio transmissions and responding when necessary, running queries and investigations in ACS, NCIC, NCJIS, and SCOPE, ChoicePoint and Lexis-Nexis, contact with public and other law enforcement agencies via telephone or radio, responding to building alarms and coordinating response action to alarms with FBI, police department, and fire department personnel.
