Daily Duties at Parkview Metal Products:

Evaluated vendor quotes including freight, terms, and services to determine optimal suppliers. Placed and monitored purchase orders. Authorized payment and/or corrected invoices and return of non-conforming materials. Managed disposal or sale of scrap, obsolete and surplus materials. ? Negotiated best possible “total cost” for commodities balanced against optimum quality, lead time requirements, and capacity needs. ? Expedited, deferred, and re-planned deliveries as required to prevent back orders or excess stock. ? Worked with Quality Management to resolve supplier performance issues and maintain ISO compliance. ? Managed emergency procurement of coil stock during non-business hours for delivery following business day.
