Daily Duties at Fcg:

As an executive consultant and coach I meet with senior leaders of cabinet departments and other Federal agencies to develop strategies for transforming their organizations using a systematic framework for performance excellence. Consultation areas include: customer focus, strategic planning, business process improvement and reengineering, competitive sourcing, quality management, knowledge management, cultural change, and other business areas. I consult with new and seasoned supervisors, managers, executives and high potential leaders to address the leadership challenges they face in transforming their organizations. I am certified to administer the OPM Leadership 360 and the Reuven BarOn EQi and EQ 360 Emotional Intelligence Assessment instrument for senior leaders. I conduct workshops on coaching, mentoring and emotional intelligence (EI). I research best practice strategic planning and organizational transformation models in the public and private sectors to determine how to share leading-edge methods and concepts with leaders across the Federal government.

What they like about Fcg:

Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
