Daily Duties at District Six Medical Examiner:
· Inspection of van readiness at beginning of each shift · Routing to crime scenes, morgues, and hospitals · Proper containment of cadaver with all potential evidence · Proper admitting of cadaver to office including inventory of possessions · Photography of cadaver following investigative protocol · Proper documentation and photography of wounds, tattoos, and other identifying marks on deceased body · Assist pathologist as needed during autopsy · Close body post-autopsy · Release body to proper parties when released by pathologist
