Daily Duties at Beef A Roo:

I was responsible for night shift operations, including hiring, training, inventory control, ordering, bookkeeping, bank deposits, sales reports, and customer and employee relations, food service sanitation and closing the restaurant. The company has a chain of eight restaurants in the Rockford area; three of them are located in surrounding towns. I worked as a night manager at three of the restaurants in Rockford, while employed there. I motivated my employees, and came up with ideas on improvements at each of these restaurants: such as suggestive selling, employee relations and incentive programs, customer relations, and restaurant operations. I believe that treating a person whether it is an employee or a customer with respect and kindness is the best policy.I left this job because My friend got shot.At one of the other restuarants. I was a single parent at the time, I chose to change occupations.

What they like about Beef A Roo:

You give high priority to hiring firms with prestige. Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
