Daily Duties at Washoe County District Health Department:

From 08/1994 until 07/1997 duties were in the Daybreak program, a daytime respite program for caregivers of frail elderly and/or disabled family members. Organized public relations and donations to the program from community resources, also organized media coverage of program events. From 07/1997 to current, I work in various clinical programs within the Community Clinical Health Service (CCHS). These clinical programs are Family Planning, Teen Health Mall, Outpatient/Sexually Transmitted Disease services, Immunizations; all of these programs encompass development, planning, direction, coordination, and evaluation with knowledge of OSHA and HIPPA requirements. Assist Nurse Practitioners with various Medical duties. The Immunizations program encompasses outreach to the public, working clerical duties at the off-site clinics, extensive knowledge of internal and external computer functions and/or programs in collecting, analyzing, and collating statistics in the community. I have been in external and internal teams of various committees from Disaster, Moral, Internal Websites, SAP employee training, union representative, Domestic Violence amongst other team leader committee functions.
